Garden Room Extension
The new garden room replaces a conservatory on the south side of the 1980’s detached house. The extension will accommodate a new dining and living area which will enjoy an extensive panorama to the south of the Firth of Forth with its rail and road bridges. The new form is taken orthogonally from the side of the existing house with a pitched and hipped roof.
The south-east face is angled specifically to maximise the panorama and cuts across the roof hip to create an informal gable, adding character in the suburban setting.
